The Derrick Barge was built by F.M.C. in 1968 in Portland, OR. It has dimensions of 150 x 54 x 13 feet and a gross tonnage of 950. It is equipped with a Clyde Iron Works crane and offers a line pull of 55,000 lbs with a line speed of 300 FPM. Powered by a D353 Cat Series E main engine and an N855-G Cummins generator, the Derrick Barge also includes a variety of dredging buckets, including a 12yd cable arm environmental bucket and 9yd Atlas and Maginnis buckets, making it highly adaptable for various marine construction and dredging tasks.
